According to a study published Thursday, January 21 by INSEE Bretagne, the number of armed forces in cyber defense will increase sharply in the territory of Rennes Métropole until 2025. The development of cyber defense activities of the Ministry of the Armed Forces in the Rennes metropolitan area will result in the creation of 1,800 jobs between 2018 and 2025 and in recruitments.

880 cyber-combatants are thus attached to the Ministry of the Armed Forces and by 2026, 940 additional jobs will be created in the State’s cyber sites, including 220 positions at the National Agency for the Security of Information Systems (ANSSI).
