The foreclosure rate in the Central Valley continues to drop steadily according to data released today from the analytics company CoreLogic.
In Modesto, the foreclosure rate in July was 1.2 percent, down from 1.28 percent in June and 2.84 percent a year ago.
July’s foreclosure rate in Stockton was 1.33 percent, a drop from 1.41 percent in June. A year ago, the foreclosure rate was 3.2 percent.
Foreclosure activity in both cities was lower than the national foreclosure rate, which was 2.43 percent for July.
California’s overall foreclosure rate was 1.01 percent for July.
