Miller to meet with Bordeaux-Bernay neighborhood residents

STOCKTON –– Councilmember Kathy Miller will hold a meeting with residents of the Bordeaux-Bernay area neighborhood on Thursday to discuss crime and other problems common to residents in the neighborhood.

“We understand that there are many issues currently facing our community,” said Miller.  “The city is in the process of hiring additional police officers, and the recent passage of Measure A will allow us to add even more officers in the future.  However, there are problems that can be addressed today by coming together as neighbors, sharing information, and understanding how to report problems to the police.”

Members of the Stockton Police Department and San Joaquin Regional Transit District will join Miller to present information to those who live in the area between Hammer Lane and Pyrenees Avenue and West Lane and Lorraine Avenue.  The meeting is open to anyone who would like to attend.
