TURLOCK – The Stanislaus County Fair has changed its deadline for replacement heifer exhibitors. It is now March 4.
“Previous deadline was in mid-January,” said Chris Borovansky, chief executive officer of the Stanislaus County Fair. “This year the livestock committee wanted to give 4H and FFA families the opportunity to attend workshops to assist in filling out the applications.”
The workshops will be held at the fairgrounds from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on Feb. 4, 5 and 6.
For registration forms and complete rules and requirements, stop by the Stanislaus County Fair office at 900 N. Broadway, Turlock, or call (209) 668-1333 ext. 315.
The 47th Annual Replacement Heifer Sale will take place on the fair’s opening night at 7 p.m., Friday, July 11.
