San Joaquin County and the San Joaquin Partnership will continue their recruiting efforts in Silicon Valley at the TiEcon Conference May 16 and 17 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, the Partnership announced.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to showcase San Joaquin County communities and entrepreneurs to over 4000 senior technology professionals from more than 50 countries,” said Partnership President & CEO Mike Ammann. “Over a two-day period, we can connect with people from top corporations, leading venture capital firms and entrepreneurs creating new companies.”
Ammann and San Joaquin County liaison Harry Mavrogenes have been marketing the labor and talent of San Joaquin County to tech businesses in the Bay Area in an effort to get businesses to relocate here or to convince investors to put money into San Joaquin County businesses.
According to the Partnership, TiEcon offers a wide range of events including high-caliber panelists and topics as well as small group discussions and mentor sessions.
“We are looking forward to this marketing opportunity and are encouraging our communities to participate in the exhibit booth and conference events,” Amman said.
