Spice and vegetable processing equipment auction set


111-1MODESTO — Those looking for a deal on spice and vegetable processing equipment will get a chance during an auction being held by Schneider Industries.

The company will auction off more than 1,100 lots of spice and vegetable processing equipment between now and 9 a.m. April 14.

The equipment is surplus from the operations of the OLAM spice and vegetable processing plant in Modesto. The company is a leading agribusiness operating in more than 70 countries. They supply food and raw materials to more than 14,000 customers worldwide.

Items the company is selling include food processing dryers, roasters, compressors, boilers, conveyors, freeze tunnels, sorters, shop equipment among other items.

A preview of sale items will occur form 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday April 13 at the OLAM location at 705 E. Whitmore Ave. in Modesto.
