Premier Staffing’s Wallace named Business Person of the Year


STOCKTON — Jennifer Wallace, the owner of Premier Staffing, has been named Business Person of the Year by the Stockton Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber released its list of honorees Monday morning. It said Wallace has a “huge presence” in the community, employing nearly 400 people on a regular basis and taking in about $5 million in revenue a year. Her staffing agency has increased the number of people for whom it finds jobs from 1,004 in 2011 to 1,982 last year.

jennifer wallaceWallace participates in business and community groups such as EAC, the San Joaquin Partnership and the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce as well as regularly contributions to charitable and community causes like The March of Dimes, the American Cancer Society, Moonlight Gala, The United Way, and several others.

The Stockton Chamber of Commerce 2016 Business Awards Luncheon will be at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, June 2 at the Hilton Stockton. Tickets are $35 each.
