Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce board sworn in


STOCKTON — The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce welcomed its new board of directors at its Annual Dinner meeting at the Stockton Golf & Country Club, on June 23.

Bakul Patel of Dorfman Pacific Co., Inc. was selected as the chamber’s new president. Diane Vigil, of the Dameron Hospital Foundation, will be the vice president.

Other board members include: Senior Vice President Deitra R. Kenoly, The Record/San Joaquin Media Group; Financial Vice President Doug Dinjian, DiBuduo & DeFendis Insurance Agency Inc.; Vice President; Dr. Lewis Gale, University of the Pacific – Eberhardt School of Business and Immediate Past President Judith Buethe of Judith Buethe Communications.

The chamber’s board of directors oversees chamber activities, sets goals and policies.

This year’s officers and directors were installed and sworn in by San Joaquin County District Attorney Tori Verber Salazar. He also swore in five new board members.

They included: Bob Berger, Cumulus Radio; Chris Kay, ACE Rail; Loretta Lee, Junior League of San Joaquin County; David Meier, Pacific Gas & Electric Company and Laura Ochoa-Sanchez, San Joaquin Delta College.
