Lodi Republican named to pest control board

SACRAMENTO — Governor Jerry Brown appointed Darren Van Steenwyk to the California Structural Pest Control Board. The Lodi Republican has been a technical director at Clark Pest Control since 2006.

He has held positions at Univar USA  and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Northern California Chapter of the Entomological Society of America, National Pest Management Association, Pest Control Operators of California and the California Association of Pest Control Advisers.

The position includes a $100 per diem and does not require senate confirmation.
