Harvest festival set for this weekend at Bloomingcamp Ranch



OAKDALE — Bloomingcamp Ranch’s annual Harvest Festival will run  9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 24 and 25, at their ranch off Highway 120, in Oakdale. The two-day celebration will honor California’s family farming traditions through connection with food, agriculture and community.

New to this year’s festival is a “Ride or Drive Out Alzheimer’s Poker Run” on Sunday, Sept. 25. The event will have participants traveling to four different businesses located within Stanislaus County and return to Bloomingcamp Ranch by 12:30 p.m. to complete their poker hand. Registration runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and costs $25 per vehicle. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

Other festivities include hands-on activities in the Kids Art Patch, hayrides, farm exhibits, a pie-eating contest, car show and games.
