STOCKTON — The Stockton Heat hockey team is giving fans the chance to vote for the goal song the team will use this season.
“This year our team has been hard at work developing new strategies to engage our fan base and make the experience at Heat games more fun than ever before,” Team President Dave Piecuch said in a statement. “The opportunity for fans to directly impact the experience is an exciting one and we look forward to seeing which song we’ll use to celebrate our goals this season!”
Fans can visit StocktonHeat.com, beginning Sept. 26 to hear that day’s song candidates. The team will reveal two new goal song candidates per day through Sept. 29. Voting will continue through Oct. 5. The top two songs will be played during the Heat’s pre-season game on Oct. 7. The final vote will start after the game and conclude on Oct. 12.
The ultimate winner will be played at the Heat’s home opener on Oct. 12.
