Workers shipped a Carlson 68-inch wide adjustable pet gate to a customer in Grant’s Pass, Oregon.

The new, 1-million-square-foot fulfillment center opened within the past week. Hundreds of full-time workers have been hired, but the company said it was continuing to hire employees. Interested candidates can apply on Amazon’s website.

The new fulfillment center will pack and ship larger customer orders, such as big-screen televisions or sports equipment.
