Stockton engineering firm wins state Engineering Excellence Award

SACRAMENTO — Kjeldsen, Sinnock & Neudeck, Inc. of Stockton, earned an Honor Award among the Engineering Excellence Awards given by the American Council of Engineering Companies of California.

The company was honored for its work on a San Jose to Santa Clara RWF 3D scanning, 3D modeling and mapping project.

The ACEC honored 21 firms working on 38 projects across the state. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in engineering and land surveying projects completed by California firms. Entries are accepted across 12 subject categories.

Awards were broken down into the honor awards and merit awards. The Golden State award for the best overall project will be announced at the awards dinner, Feb. 2, 2017 in San Francisco.

Honor Award winners also are eligible to enter the national level Engineering Excellence Awards competition.

“Engineering and land surveying firms excel at serving California communities through extraordinary and innovative design in order to solve real-world problems,” Brad Diede, executive director of ACEC California said in a release. “This year’s award winners were no exception – from providing critical clean water infrastructure to more efficient transportation improvement projects and world-class facilities – ACEC members are moving California forward.”
