STOCKTON — Former County Board of Supervisors chair Moses Zapien has joined the Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin’s Board of Directors, the organization announced Thursday.
The Board unanimously endorsed Zapien’s application to serve on Jan. 10.
The Board said Zapien’s path to professional achievement aligns closely with the Partnership’s values.
The Partnership’s mission is to provide tools, resources and connections to help families improve their quality of life.
Zapien was the first in his family to graduate from college. He became an attorney, was elected to the Stockton City Council and most recently, was appointed chair of the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors.
