LeAnn Rimes to open Stanislaus County Fair

TURLOCK — Country singer LeAnn Rimes will open the Stanislaus County Fair in July, the fair announced Thursday.

Rimes will perform at 8:30 p.m., Friday, July 14 on the Bud Light Variety Free Stage.

“We are thrilled to have LeAnn Rimes back at the Stanislaus County Fair,” said Stanislaus County Fair spokeswoman Adrenna Alkhas. “Her music and breathtaking voice is loved by fans of all ages.”

Rimes has sold more than 44 million units, won two Grammy Awards; 12 Billboard Music Awards; two World Music Awards; three Academy of Country Music Awards; one Country Music Association Award and one Dove Award.

The 2017 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 14 for 10 days. Discounted fair admission tickets, unlimited ride wristbands, and the fair season pass go on sale starting Saturday, April 29.
