Lodi is known for its small-town feel, its inviting nature and, of course, its wines. And, most of all, for its zinfandels.
Zinfandel and other wines popular in the Lodi appellation will be celebrated Saturday, May 21 at Lodi Lake at Zinfest, an event known for music, food and wine.
The event, which sees thousands of attendees every year, will feature 40 area wineries offering tastings of their varietal, food vendors, live music, merchandise and other attractions.
Cooking demonstrations will also be available at the lakeside celebration.
Zinfest will run from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
On Sunday, local wineries will continue the fun with open houses. Cycling and kayaking activities will also be available.
Tickets are $55 and up and can be purchased online at zinfest.com.
