La Dolce Vita holding ‘pop up’ food event

Chef Tobias Cooks will be serving up cannoli and other decadent desserts this Sunday, June 25.

Sweet treats and Southern eats is the theme of a food-related pop up event in Downtown Stockton this Sunday.

La Dolce Vita, a café at 347 E. Weber Avenue is hosting the event with T&S/Samara Southern Creations.

Pop up events are a new way to get business recognition. What seems like a random set up or marketing ploy on the part of a business is a proven means to build and retain a customer base.

Chef Tobias Cooks, owner of La Dolce Vita, will be offering a bevy of fresh-baked pastries and desserts from her signature cannoli to cupcakes, ice cream, iced coffee and more.

T&S will be creating Southern favorites including honey Sriracha fried chicken and banana pudding waffle skewers, seafood gumbo pot pie and shrimp and grits topped with Dungeness crab.
