University of the Pacific be the venue for a code enforcement symposium focusing on issues facing the San Joaquin Valley.
Representatives from the City of Stockton, City of Madera, Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance, Inc., and the Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability will present panels on code enforcement strategies being put into place across the valley.
The host of the symposium, San Joaquin Valley Housing Collaborative, is a nonprofit organization that addresses housing issues affecting low- to moderate-income households and communities in the Valley.
The symposium will look at current code enforcement strategies and resources available to those in the code enforcement arena.
The event will be held at UOP, July 26, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Vereschagin Alumni House, 1022 Dave Brubeck Way, in Stockton.
