The Lodi District Grape Growers Association and the Lodi Winegrape Commission will hold their annual Grape Harvest Safety Seminar on July 25.
The yearly event, which is held prior to harvest, will start at 8 a.m. and run until 12:30 p.m. It will be held at the Lodi Grape Festival Grounds on Lockeford Street in Lodi.
There are seminars in both English and Spanish, so those wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP to the LDGGA office with the number of attendees. Lunch will be provided for those in attendance.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. on the day of the event. Topics will cover harvesting safety at night, general harvesting safety and OSHA violations pertaining heat illness.
