The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is holding a career fair to hire for a multitude of jobs. An estimated 1,100 positions are looking to be filled.
On August 21, Caltrans will be accepting applications for positions in administration, local assistance, maintenance and operations and program project management, all of which have current vacancies.
The career fair will be held at the Robert J. Cabral Agricultural Center near the Stockton Metropolitan Airport.
Job seekers are asked to bring their résumé, driver’s license or another form of identification, school transcripts and diplomas. Not all positions require these documents, however, attendees as asked to bring them just the same.
Attendance is free, and the career fair will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at 2101 E. Earhart Ave., Ste. 100,
Caltrans is charged with the management of the California state highway system. It is also involved with public transportation systems throughout the state.
