A Stockton-based home builder is helping people get into the home-buying market.
Visionary Home Builders will hold a Homebuyer Education Class introduce (or refresh) buyers on what it takes to purchase a home.
On August 26, the company will hold a one-day class at its Homeownership Center, 315 N. San Joaquin Street in Downtown Stockton, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The class is required by Housing and Urban Development for those wanting to purchase a home through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program.
The class covers everything potential home buyers will need to know, including the understanding of credit scores, good faith estimates, budget analysis, housing payment affordability and how to develop your home-buying team, according to a statement released by Visionary Home Builders.
Those wishing to attend must pre-register. Forms for registration can be downloaded from visionaryhomebuilders.org, or by going to the company’s headquarters in Downtown Stockton.
