STOCKTON—The popular craft, entertainment and shopping event, the Stockmarket, is holding its last event of the season on Sept. 16.
The community is invited to attend the event, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Caldwell Park just off the Miracle Mile in Stockton.
The Stockmarket’s offerings include more than 80 local vendors, art installations, lots of games, food trucks, kids’ activities and two live bands.
Although the heat has been a deterrent this summer, it hasn’t flagged the popularity of the event, drawing lots of fun seekers throughout this past season.
The Stockmarket was created in 2015 by Good Stock Productions as a means to showcase local small businesses and entrepreneurs.
“It’s a curated marketplace focused on handmade, vintage and small business,” said Amy Sieffert, Stockmarket Organizer in a 2015 Business Journal interview. “We like to keep it as local as possible.”
Vendors come from the immediate area and from Sacramento and Modesto as well.
