Manteca-based Delicato Vineyards will be holding its 30th Annual Fine Art Show starting Jan. 29 and running through Feb. 17.
The winery is currently seeking submissions for the juried show. Submissions can be made from Jan. 8 to 19, and artists are encouraged to do so by calling, emailing or going to the Delicato website at dfvtastingroom.com.
Artists can submit up to five pieces of work in the mediums of acrylic paints, watercolors, pastels, oil paints, charcoal or ink. The submission fee is $9 per piece, and themes can be in the categories of landscape, floral, portrait, animals, whimsical or other. Judging will take place Jan. 20.
Tina Moore, the award chair of the Pastel Society of America, will be judging the pieces.
Admission is free to the public, and the art will be for sale. Visitors are welcome to cast their votes for favorite pieces. Twenty awards totaling $1,600 will be presented at the close of the show on Feb. 17.
The art will be displayed at the Delicato tasting room, 12001 S. Highway 99, Manteca.
