University of California Merced is holding a job fair to fill positions needed for the completion of the first phase of its Merced 2020 Project.
On May 15, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., UC Merced will hold a job fair in conjunction with WorkNet at the UC Merced Downtown Campus Center, 655 W. 18th St., in Merced.
Department managers in charge of hiring will be at the fair looking for potential candidates to interview or callback for further interviews. The school is looking for people to fill positions in dining and facilities custodial services.
Job seekers are asked to come dressed for an interview and to have copies of their resume to share. Applicants can also go to jobs.ucmerced.edu to apply.

According to representatives for UC Merced, the custodial positions began at more than $16 per hour and employees are fully benefited on their first day.
