Emmmy night 2021 resulted in a complete success for Netlix, winning top awards with The Crown – 100% and Lady’s Gambit – 93%. One of the most nominated shows in the limited series category was WandaVision – 95% of Marvel, which at the past Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards carried multiple accolades in technical categories, was eligible for a slew of awards on Sunday’s broadcast, and fans were expecting series star Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, will take one home. But it seems like Emmy voters didn’t love the Disney Plus show as much as the rest of us.

Elizabeth Olsen’s nomination was something her fans dreamed of after seeing her doing an excellent job episode after episode of WandaVision – 95%. And in the end, it became a reality: the actress was nominated for an Emmy in one of the most uncertain categories of the night, that of Best Actress in a Miniseries. But the competition was quite close due to the talent of each of the actresses who received recognition for the characters they played on television recently such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Michaela Coel, Cynthia Erivo and Kate Winslet, the latter being the winner, thanks to his masterful performance at Mare of Easttown – 90%, HBO show. But not only Winslet was recognized, also Evan Peters in the section for Best Supporting Actor, and Julianne Nicholson as Best Supporting Actress for the same series.
While Marvel Studios’ Disney Plus series took home three awards at the Creative Arts Emmys last weekend (for production, costume design, and music), the action series was excluded entirely from the Primetime Emmys, which were held last night in Los Angeles. Fans and critics alike loved last winter’s witty show, in which Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) finally faced her grief over losing Vision (Paul Bettany).
Hours before the Emmy ceremony, Marvel fans took to social media to share their hopes for the award picks for Olsen and also celebrated his passage on the red carpet. But WandaVision It did not win any major awards this Sunday, after receiving 23 nominations in total. something fans feel like a slight to the actress and the show. The series was predicted to win at least two awards for acting: both Kathryn Hahn and Bettany were considered favorites in their categories for limited series drama.

Elizabeth olsen she showed off in her character as Wanda. In general, the quality of the first series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is something that surprised audiences and critics, who praised the innovative approach of Jac Schaeffer, the creator and screenwriter of WandaVision. Hence, the followers of the show wanted the actress to be recognized for her work, but the final result has left them disappointed and they have not hesitated to express their disappointment on social networks.

“Have I seen any of the other Emmy Awards shows? No ..
But did Elizabeth Olsen and WandaVision deserve to win everything they were nominated for? Absolutely!!”
“It sucks #ElizabethOlsen didn’t win an Emmy for #WandaVision, but I’m honestly not surprised that a sci-fi superhero show didn’t win such a prized category because Emmys would never vote for sci-fi or anything so out of the ordinary.”
Sucks #ElizabethOlsen didn’t win the Emmy for #WandaVision, but I’m honestly not surprised a sci-fi superhero show didn’t win such a prized category because the Emmys would never vote for sci-fi or anything as off-beat as that show was. # Emmys2021 #Emmys

Wanda’s story originated in the fictional country of Sokovia, where she grew up with her twin brother Pietro (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). Tragically, the twins were orphaned when they were very young due to an explosive suddenly hitting their apartment building and killing their parents. After discovering that the weapon’s shell was named after Stark Industries, the two developed a deep hatred for Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man. Later, the brother duo became test subjects for the evil organization HYDRA. While undergoing an experiment, Wanda and Pietro acquired powers, and from then on, we learned that Wanda’s abilities were mysterious, but they were heavily inclined towards telepathy and manipulation. The series takes us to a perfect happiness in the home of Wanda and Vision (Paul Bettany), which was already a great mystery because the character of Bettany was among those who could not return with the click. The plot of the Marvel Studios production, which also received an Emmy nomination for Best Miniseries, happens largely as a sitcom whose episodes signify a breakthrough in the way these productions were made over the years. going through the change from black and white television to color. The mysteries of WandaVision they are revealed little by little, and it is clear to the viewer that something is wrong from the beginning. The introduction of other characters and strange situations in the episodes made the miniseries tremble on Twitter with each new release, but not many things were clarified until it was revealed that Wanda’s neighbor was actually Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn ), and that as the song says, she was behind everything that happened in Westview.
Although Olsen has not won an Emmy, in the series he demonstrated his ability to move from one record to another. So we do not doubt, to the consolation of his fans, that his future is bright and several recognitions await him.
