Accolades is the second, playing straight into the Lakers’ purple touch, plus gold accents on the laces. He represents the era of dominance with both the Bucks and Los Angeles.
This iteration tells a ninja star (Kareem was a friend of Bruce Lee, participating in the movie Game with Death), with the years of the six titles obtained as a Bucks and Lakers player (1 and 5, respectively).
The latest model is the Legacy, a silhouette he wore on LeBron James’ record day on February 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Its upper part is completely black, evoking a lifelong commitment to social justice and racial inequality.
The collection is exclusive, and 33 select pairs of each silhouette will drop on February 28, at Kareem’s Club Skyhook premiere. The Alpha model will be available to the first 33 Skyhook Loyalty Club VIP members, while the Accolades will be sold at select LA retailers, and the Legacy will be raffled off for adiClub members.
