Kelvin Perera Arteaga, a young entrepreneur creates an application called Esent, which consists of offering diners a digital medium that helps them to reserve, order and pay for their food before arriving at the restaurants, he defines said application as: « The ideal way to go out to eat. »
Perera said that with the Esent app, it aims to transform the restaurant industry, which since its inception has maintained a concept that over time has only evolved with “Delivery”. He also commented that the platform is easy to use, the steps are as follows: go to https://www.esent.com.mx, register, choose a restaurant, select your food, pay and when you get to the restaurant, your food is ready and freshly prepared, thus reducing waiting times.

Kelvin graduated in 2017 from the Petroleum Engineering degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) Campus Tabasco and has a phrase that motivates him to be better on a daily basis, which is: « Create technology for others. » He also said that due to the motivation that said educational institution gives to entrepreneurship and in many of the rallies or innovation tournaments in which he participated, the passion for carrying out new projects was fostered in him and in his colleagues.
The young entrepreneur said that the idea arose at the beginning of 2020 and that everything began to take shape in June of the same year, during the Covid-19 pandemic, in which Kevin and his friend decided to create the digital platform, which which has resulted in the generation of new jobs, and as if that were not enough, Perera supports local restaurateurs, not charging them any commission, since he only receives 10% of the total bill for the use of the service, this is charged directly to the diner.
At the moment the scope of the app is local, but Kevin and his work team are in negotiations with different companies, so that in 2021, they could expand to Mexico City and later to other cities in the country.
The Autonomous University of Guadalajara, Tabasco campus, recognizes the talent and initiative of Kelvin Perera Arteaga, who at only 23 years old, has been able to undertake a competitive project, of which his successes will surely be fulfilled shortly. Since as Kevin says: « You don’t get anywhere by longing for a dream, you have to work for it every day. »
