Artificial intelligence shows what some Marvel characters would look like as samurai

Marvel Studios characters are as legendary as the samurai, the military elite of Japanese warriors that have been used to make movies and series. An artificial intelligence (AI) has helped imagine what some Avengers and other heroes in samurai costumes would look like in live-action and they look amazing.

According to a report published on the website of The Trade of Peruthe content creator Vahe Matshkalyan showed the results of how the artificial intelligence Midjourney reimagined the protagonists of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU, for its acronym in English) with the characteristics of these warriors.

Like the different versions of DALL-E from OpenIA, midjourney is an artificial intelligence program with which users can create images from textual descriptions. On this occasion, a user wrote to illustrate some Marvel characters as samurai.

The application has not yet been officially launched and is still in its beta phase, open to the public and to Internet users who want to try it. Midjourney rose to prominence after the British magazine The Economist used the software to make the cover of one of its June 2022 issues.

This is how Spider-Man, Black Panther and more look like samurai

From the MCU there had to be Spider-Man, Marvel’s most important superhero. His horns are a bit strange, but we like the result.

We also have Black Panther, probably in T’Challa’s version, combining the black, purple and gold colors that characterize the character and protector of Wakanda.

The AI showed what the Hulk and Iron Man, two of the early Avengers, would look like. We also get a look at Doctor Strange, Loki, Groot and Rocket from the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the mutant Deadpool, who hasn’t made his MCU debut yet but will be seeing him very soon.
