Athletics: Valarie Allman, first American to exceed 70 meters on disk

Valarie Allman has become the first American athlete to break the 70-meter barrier with the puck by throwing 70.15 at the Iron Wood Throwers Center in Idaho (USA).

With no medals yet at major championships (he was silver at the 2014 Junior World Cup), Allman, who trains in Austin, Texas under the leadership of Zebulon Sion, has placed himself at the top of the world list of the year.

Allman, Seventh at the 2019 Doha World Cup, he joined the 70-meter club in discus throwing, which has 25 members throughout history.

He Previous American record belonged, with 69.17, Gia Lewis-Smallwood since 2014.
