An old acquaintance of the ACB League announced his retirement today. Axel Hervelle, one of the most illustrious Belgians in our national league, announced today that he is hanging up his boots at age 37, curiously a few days after his NBA rights were transferred to the Knicks.

All courage and dedication, Hervelle came to the ACB League in 2004 to play for Real Madrid, a team in which he would play six seasons. In 2010 he joined the Bilabo Basket, in which he spent 8 seasons in which he won the affection of Miribilla. After leaving the Basque club in 2018, he returned to his native country to play for Spirou Charleroi until today, when he has decided to end his long career.
