at the feet of kyle kuzma and Skylar Diggins-Smith, Balmain and Puma teamed up to launch the Balmain x Puma Court, sneakers that mix luxury with comfort.
Kuzma, a member of the Washington Wizards in the NBA, and Diggins-Smith, of the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA, are the images of the Balmain x Puma Court campaign.
Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s chief designer, spoke with hypebeast on the limited edition: “We are all huge basketball fans here, and the French are extremely dedicated to their favorite American teams.”
“Also, honestly, is there any group of athletes more fashionable than basketball players? Therefore, I have long believed that a combination of Balmain’s codes of modern Parisian luxury and the excitement of basketball would be the perfect match.”
“I am very happy that Puma has joined me and my team to help test this hypothesis,” Rousteing said.
