Between March and May 2020 45,684 people died from COVID-19 identified and suspected, according to data published this Thursday by the INE. Specifically, 32,652 were for Covid identified, and another 13,032, for suspect.
In addition, of the deaths attributed to the coronavirus, doctors certified another 4,218 deaths for other causes in which COVID-19 contributed to the deaths of these people (as comorbidity).
