Curve, Aave, Synthetix and seven other DeFi projects
The Global DeFi Alliance had been created by Huobi DeFi Labs a month ago. Originally it only brought together MakerDAO (MKR), Compound (COMP), Nest (NEST) and dYdX (dYdX) projects. Now 10 new members have joined the DeFi consortium, including Curve, Aave and Synthetix. The other 7 members are Balancer, Loopring, Zapper, Zerion, Bitpie, Mykey and CoinGecko.
The Global DeFi Alliance aims to promote collaboration within a still very new and particularly heterogeneous ecosystem. More precisely, it is about bring the O closernothingt of Occidenott, according to Sharlyn Wu, chief investment officer at Huobi:
“We strongly feel the isolation between centralized exchanges, financial institutions and the global community, and we want to bridge this chasm. [Nous ressentons] also the great cultural differences between East and West, and we believe it is our responsibility to bring the community together. “
New members will be invited to collaborate on issues of education of DeFi users, standardization of protocols, risk management and development of the ecosystem at the global level.

The new shows in any case that the DeFi sector is gradually consolidating. Still driven by sometimes absurd projects, it will certainly have to promote this type of alliances, if it does not want to risk suffering a decline in interest such as the ICO sector experienced after 2018.
