Germany registered 25,164 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, 5 .564 more than the previous day, reported the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), attached to the Ministry of Health.
The balance updated as of January 14 is 1,978,590 confirmed infection cases (+25,164), including 314,700 active (300 more than the previous day), 1,620,300 recovered (+23,600) and 43,881 deaths (+1,244) .
The accumulated incidence in the last seven days is 151.2 cases per one hundred thousand inhabitants.
The day before, 19,600 new infections and 1,060 deaths were reported.
Since March 11, the World Health Organization has classified the disease as a pandemic Covid-19 caused by the new Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 detected in late 2019.
Throughout the world there have been more than 92.31 million cases of infection by the pathogen, including more than 1.97 million deaths and about 50.97 million recoveries, according to Johns Hopkins University in the USA.
