The government is due to hold a press conference this Thursday.
Qhat measures will they be announced to the French on Thursday at 6 p.m., time of the press conference to be held by the executive?
The government should announce, as a first step, the establishment, in the departments not yet concerned by such a measure, of a curfew at 6 p.m. This measure could even be extended to the entire territory.
A re-containment, however, seems for the moment ruled out, according to several government sources, even if the executive is worried about the circulation of the British variant of the coronavirus. To prevent the spread of the latter (and its South African counterpart), the government should put in place stricter border controls (which amounts to limiting travel, as suggested, this Tuesday on TF1, the president of the Scientific Council, Jean-François Delfraissy).
