Daft Punk announces its separation after almost 30 years of experience – Las Noticias de Chihuahua – Intrelíneas

The French group Daft Punk announced its separation on Monday, after almost three decades of experience.

The duet formed by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter made the news known through a video, which is part of their film Electroma (2006).

The band’s publicist, Kathryn Frazier, confirmed the breakup without giving further details, according to the Pitchfork website.

During its trajectory, Daft Punk released four studio albums and two live albums.

In addition, they made and participated in five films, such as DAFT: A Story About Dogs, Androids, Firemen and Tomatoes (1999) and Interstella 5555 – The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem (2003), to name a few.
