A driver unleashed a manhunt on the 91 Freeway Sunday after refusing to stop, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The chase began in Riverside County when, according to the CHP, the driver was driving dangerously.
At around 7:15 pm, our helicopter was over the chase heading west on Highway 91 from Anaheim.
At various points, the driver released the wheel and stuck his body out of the vehicle’s window while gesturing toward the helicopter.
From the 91 freeway he got on the 605 freeway and eventually the 105 freeway. He got off in South Los Angeles, where he passed red lights and kept sticking his body out the window.
At 7:40 p.m. he reached a dead end and surrendered to officers near the intersection of Towne Avenue and 108th Street.
