The Dallas County scholarship was called Promise and as the name implies, the main requirement is to commit to going to college or community college.
Students who are currently in 12th grade can apply. Grade at any school in this county and does not require high grade or essay writing.
Some of the requirements that are asked, obviously after making the promise, is to fill out an application for admission by February 5. Apply for government financial aid through FAFSA or if the student does not have social security, they must apply for TAFSA aid by March 5. Finally enroll in the classes that you will take in your higher education for July 30.
