Dallas : tenth tropical depression forms

The tenth tropical depression of the 2020 hurricane season formed during the last minutes of Friday in the Atlantic Ocean, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

The system is located 200 miles northeast of the Cape Verde Islands, near the African continent, according to the NHC’s 8 am (Cape Verde time) bulletin.

The report indicates that the tropical depression has maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour and is moving at 16 mph in a northwest direction.

It is expected to be short-lived, as it should become a low-pressure remnant over the course of Saturday or Sunday morning.

There are no warnings or warnings issued by the tenth tropical depression.
