The Florida Highway Patrol released video of the inside of a flipped truck after being in the middle of a possible tornado Tuesday afternoon in Deland.
The driver was taken to hospital with blows and bruises.
The Highway Patrol indicated that wearing a seat belt possibly averted a greater tragedy.
The National Weather Service will need to confirm if a tornado made landfall in the area, but damage in the area indicates that a very strong storm left its mark.
Homes have been damaged, cars overturned, trees broken and power lines downed after a powerful tornado-warning storm passed through DeLand.
