Steve Scully of C-SPAN will do the same in the second debate on October 15 in Miami, Florida while journalist Kristen Welker, of Telemundo’s sister network, NBC, will moderate the third debate in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 22. October.
Meanwhile, the debate between the vice presidential candidates, Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Kamala Harris, will be moderated by USA Today journalist Susan Page, scheduled for October 7 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Trump and Biden assured their participation in the three debates, although since the Trump campaign they complained about some of the moderators since they described them against the president.
Tim Murtaugh, communications director for the president’s campaign, said “the moderators were not those that we would have recommended if we had the opportunity to do so.”
