Emergency crews rescued a woman after a single-vehicle accident in the 5100 block of Ramey Avenue in Fort Worth.
According to police, the driver of a two-passenger car lost control, passed through a fence and entered a wooded area, overturning the vehicle.
The woman in the back seat was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, police said.
The driver, who has not been identified, faces one count of assault for poisoning, and suffered no life-threatening injuries. Neither did the other person who was going ahead with him.
