The club’s walls were pink, but inside was a barred room for women trying to escape the You and I, brothel located on the N-630, in Malpartida de Plasencia (Cáceres). The one in charge of capturing and deceiving women to enslave them there and prevent them from escaping was Elena Puzyrevich. Sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison and on the run, Puzyrevich is today the most wanted criminal in Spain. The group of Fugitives of the National Police has followed in their footsteps in prostitution premises in A Coruña, Tenerife and Madrid. Elena is dedicated to trafficking in women. He’s a pimp.
Dozens of women were sexually exploited in the club you and me, led by the Russian fugitive and her then partner, a Renfe worker. Business was going well until in early 2008 one of the young women, recently arrived and deceived from Russia, refused to prostitute herself and jumped through one of the windows that had no bars. She broke her leg and was taken to hospital. There Elena’s plot was uncovered.

Investigations found that women were picking up girls in Russia, some of them minors, and convinced them to come to Spain, many times deceived. When they were locked up in the club, at kilometer 493 of the N-630, the Russian pimp was in charge of monitoring them and making them pay “their debt” to the organization through sexual services.
Some time later, the police launched Operation Zarza, which, in addition to the plot of the club headed by Elena in Extremadura, exploited women in premises in Girona, Lleida, Almería and Granada.
The evidence showed that Elena was responsible for capturing and prostituting (then the crime of trafficking in women in Spain was not punished) nine Russian women, all without residence or work permits. They arrived at the Barajas airport with a tourist visa and were transferred to the club, from where they no longer left.
Elena also kept the local accounting. In April 2008, she was arrested along with 14 other people. The police found 52,500 euros in the house of the other club boss, his sentimental partner at the time, who was sentenced to prison.
The trial took three years to complete. Elena and her partner were sentenced to prisonBut when the day came, only he went into jail. She had fled.
The National Police’s Fugitive Location group has followed in their footsteps ever since. Fernando González, chief inspector of the group, affirms that “when it all happened, the crime of human trafficking did not exist in Spain, if it had been today 20 years in prison would have fallen“The first destination chosen by the woman to hide was Russia, as later verified.
Galicia and Madrid
For the last ten years, Elena Puzyrevich, 1.60, brown eyes, 42 years old now, has been one of the targets of the group, architect of locate war criminals, rapists and gangsters of all kinds hidden in Spain and Spanish hidden in different parts of the world.
Inspector Darío, head of Group 2 and responsible for these investigations, explains that the first clues came when “we saw that this woman had contacts with people from the world of prostitution in various areas of A Coruña and Madrid“The agents went through hospitals, censuses, schools, in case she had been a mother and took her son to school … without success.
Some people said they had seen it in Mexico, but the most insistent clues led to Canary Islands, to the island of Tenerife. They placed her, again, as a pimp in a pub on the island, in charge of controlling the girls who were exploited there.
Several agents went to the premises and posed as clients, photographed the women. As in the Extremadura club governed by Elena, the victims were Russian, and here there were also Ukrainians and even a drag queenBut neither was the most wanted fugitive.
The last clue to his whereabouts came earlier this year.. Someone claimed that Elena was the in charge of another local hostess in A Coruña. Again, it wasn’t her. Most likely, the pimp is back in her country, Russia. There she fled when the Spanish justice was looking for her and her mother and the rest of her family live there. There she feels safe. In Spain, the pressure of the police and her pending sentence make her “burned” for the business of exploiting other women.
