Jenni Rivera’s widower, Esteban Loaiza, will be released from prison in a few months, as confirmed by Lorenzo Méndez, ex-husband of Chiquis Rivera, eldest daughter of the “Diva de la Banda.”
After his meeting with the press in the United States, the Mexican regional music singer revealed that it will be in six months when the former player leaves prison.
“I spoke with him last week … it comes out in August, I don’t know the day, but it comes out in August and I’m happy that it’s going to come out,” Méndez told reporters.
It was in March 2019 when Loaiza was sentenced to three years in prison after a year of being arrested in San Diego and pleading guilty to federal charges, in addition to acknowledging that he possessed 20 kilograms of cocaine with the intention of distributing it.
As you will recall, the former baseball player, who made more than $ 43 million over 14 major league seasons, agreed to the plea deal that moved the drugs from one vehicle to another.
