The third installment of ‘Fantastic beasts’ finally gets going. After a lot of delays due to a pandemic and controversies such as the departure of Johnny Depp, the Wizarding World begins with the promotion of our return to the franchise created by JK Rowling unveiling the official title of Newt Scamander’s third adventure: ‘Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets’.

This is the official synopsis: “Professor Albus Dumbledore knows that the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is preparing to take over the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and a brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, in which they will find old and new animals and collide with the growing legion of Grindelwald followers.. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore stay on the bench? “
Advances its premiere
In addition to the title, the film has moved its premiere from July 2022 to April 15, 2022, and according to what we read on the saga’s official website, it could arrive “potentially earlier in a few international markets”. In the cast we will have back Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Katherine Waterston, Jessica Williams and Mads Mikkelsen. Williams returns as Lally Hicks, the Ilvermorny teacher who already appeared in the second installment. David Yates is directing and JK Rowling and Steve Kloves sign the script. The challenge of this third installment is to get the franchise to rise after the “puncture” suffered by the second film in criticism and at the box office.
