We have the first images and renders of the next jewel of Xiaomithe Xiaomi 13 Ultra, a range of the Chinese company acclaimed by its users and that is renewed with this spectacular cell phone.
As a report published on the website of Know Your Mobilethe leaked renders show that the device has retained a set of circular cameras on the back like the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, but now adopts a radical new rear design.
The back has a leather-like material. Also, the rear panel is divided into two parts. The top is raised, making the camera array slightly less protruding than the 12S Ultra. It also tries to mimic the shape of a traditional camera.
Certainly, the rendering allows a better view of the phone’s camera array. It comes with a trapezoidally arranged quad camera: one lens is a periscope sensor and the main camera should be the 1-inch sensor like the previous Ultra.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra had a 48MP ultra-wide camera and ToF depth sensor, so we can expect a similar setup with Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which has the Leica brand logo front and center on the camera array, even steeper than the previous model.
Probable 13 Ultra specs
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra came with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Xiaomi 13 Ultra, for its part, would use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the latest flagship of the system-on-chip range of semiconductor products.
Regarding the screen, it is expected to be high-end: 2K with a 120 Hz AMOLED panel with all the required certifications, such as Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
As for the battery and charging, we can expect a battery with a capacity of 4800 mAh – 5000 mAh, 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra would come with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. The mobile would be presented in April of this year, marketed internationally and its price would exceed 800 dollars.
