Francesco Bagnaia has led free practice 3 of the San Marino GP of MotoGP in a session where the sun shone in fullness, with 28 degrees in the environment and 29 on the asphalt. The Italian pilot left behind Fabio Quartararo and Jack miller while Joan Mir and Maverick Viñales they sealed the fourth and fifth position respectively.
For its part, Marc Márquez suffered a crash in turn fourteen (the nineteenth of the season) in a circuit, a priori, favorable for the eight-time world champion (he got the last three poles in the premier class.) The Catalan will have to go to the repechage and go through Q1.
The first bars of the day were signed by Bagnaia but, with 25 minutes remaining, Viñales regained his head. Shortly after, Quartararo hit the ax but couldn’t beat the Italian rider, who was faster and finished the session on top. In addition, Valentino rossi he crashed at turn 13, to the disgust of his fans, although he got up on his own feet and suffered no major damage: the driver returned to the pits. And, as is tradition, with his special helmet for the Grand Prix, this time in pink, in honor of his daughter. Johann Zarco also suffered the same fate as Rossi, touched the ground of Misano.
