2020 closes with 70,703 more deaths than expected
Madrid, Jan 12 (EFE) .- The Daily Mortality Monitoring System (MoMo) of the Carlos III Health Institute has estimated excess mortality in Spain throughout 2020 at 70,703 more deaths than expected, 63 percent of them occurred between March and May, coinciding with the first wave of the pandemic, and the rest between July and December.
