The digital giant will be auditioned on April 12, 2021 in San Francisco, United States.
Google was monitoring its employees
A year ago, four employees filed a complaint against Google. They claimed that their dismissal took place after their desire to set up a union. For its part, the digital giant replied that they were accused of having violated internal security rules.
The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which ensures the application of labor law, issued its first conclusions. So, Google allegedly monitored his employees by watching the presentations they had prepared to try to convince employees to unionize.
Google questioned employees about protected activities. He even threatened reprisals if they went out of the chain of command for complaints about various topics, said one of the four dismissed employees.
An audition for the next year
The hearing of Google is scheduled for April 12 in San Francisco. Until that date, he has 15 days to respond to the NLRB’s request. “We strongly support the rights of our employees in the workplace, open discussions and respectful debates have always been in the tradition of Google“, said a spokesperson for the group.
For many months, Google faces several protest movements from employees. At the end of 2018, they are thousands to demonstrate against the management of sexual harassment at Google. Another demonstration denounced the signing of contracts related to armed conflicts or the management of American borders by Google.
