The end of the series, however, will not spell the end of Rae’s relationship with HBO. And on the other hand, he is developing a television adaptation of the podcast ‘Nine White Parents’ with Adam McKay and a series about wrestling with Dwayne johnson.

Yvonne Orji, the other protagonist of ‘Insecure’, is not going to be without work after the end of the series since the actress is working on a comedy for Disney +. ‘First Gen’ will be a half-hour long comedy loosely based on Orji’s life as a Nigerian immigrant growing up in America.. The fiction, which will be produced by Oprah Winfrey and David oyelowo, will delve into her personal experiences from her childhood, when she was a child caught between honoring her parents and their culture and trying to integrate into American life.
